Jason and I went on a big trip this last week.
He had to be down in Mesa, Arizona for training for work!
On Saturday, February 25th we left for Las Vegas, Nevada.
We would have left Sunday straight to Arizona,
but we were worried about not making that flight, it was pretty full!
So we went to Vegas, and decided to spend the night!
We arrived pretty early in the day.
Grabbed our bags and headed to the Luxor.
After a crazy checkin, we were waiting in line for Cris Angel tickets
when finally would could go to our room!
We headed up to the room, put out stuff down and headed out for some food!
We went to a delicious pizza place!
And wandered around. Jason played a little Roulette.
After we headed back to the room and took a quick nap.
Went downstairs and walked around a bit.
Ate at an AWESOME Buffet!
A ridiculous amount of choices!
Went up to Mandalay Bay and went to all the stores.
Which is where I got a bloody nose.
And so we quickly ran downstairs and headed to the nearest bathroom.
Standing there blood oozing out of my nose barely having enough to switch paper towels without it dripping all over.
A very nice older lady came up and got a couple paper towels for me.
Quickly realized how much I was bleeding, and asked what happend.
Of course people just assume something bad!
I informed her its just the diffference in air with changing cities,
yes, Tri-Cities is a desert, but its worse there.
She ran to her "new buddy" the bartender she said.
Grabbed me a towel and some ice and a cup.
When the lady told her what she needed it for the bartender
freaked out and called security!
As the lady is telling me this, I'm freaking out in my mind.
Wanting to say, "Really?!? It's a bloody nose! I'm fine!"
And thinking,"Great Jason is sitting outside and is going to see this!
He's going to think something serious happened!"
The female security guard came in and asked how i was feeling, and all that.
I said I was fine nothing to worry about.
Around this time, it started to slow down.
Cleaned myself up.
Walked outside of the bathroom.
To where I quickly turned around and ran back in to throw up!
I was really light headed and pale.
By this time there was 3 or 4 security standing there.
They had me sit down.
And of course because I'm under 21, I have to be escorted!
Awesome, so I'm sitting there with Jason holding my stuff
and guards all around me.
Perrrfect!
I was sweating like crazy, I was so hot and so they gave me
some ice pads and put gauze under my lip.
Long story short!
Embarrassing!
We finally got to go up to our room which wasn't very far.
I layed down while Jason decided we weren't going to Cris Angel
or doing anything else that night...):
Talk about LAME.
Which brings us to Sunday, February 26.
We woke up early getting ready to fly out the Phoenix-Mesa.
We went to breakfast at the same buffet from the night before!
(that's how good it was)
Had an amazing conversation.
One I will never forget!
But after we went to the airport...
When we ended up just renting a car!
Jason thought that it would be fun!
Because I've never seen the Hoover Dam or the Grand Canyon!
So we rented a 2012 VW Eos Convertible!!
(: SCORE!
After this pit stop we headed towards the Grand Cayon!
But stopped at a little place and bought some Jerky!
Every road trip we've gone on we get Jerky!
It was delicious!
As our trip continued we laughed, danced, talked, sang, had a blast.
Just made me realize that those are the type of memories I'll have
with me for my whole life.
If we flew none of that would have happened.
Makes me happy. I'm glad Jason suggested it(:
After a longer drive, we finally made it.
To the cold, snow covered, Grand Canyon!
Holy Cow!
That thing was HUGE!
It went for miles, and miles.
We could barely see the river at the bottom!
We actually got to see some local wild life.
They posed very well for my camera!
We went down the road a bit and took a few more pictures
When we met this guy..
He was one crazy bird!!
He walked right up to the window...
Stood there. And made some weird noises!
So we left!
Headed down to our final destination
I snapped this lovely picture on our way down out of Flagstaff.
But we finally made it to the Legado Hotel And Spa
Where we checked in, went and got something to eat.
Headed back to the hotel and went to bed.
Monday, February 27th, came in.
We woke up to nothing but sunshine!
We woke up to nothing but sunshine!
It was gorgeous.
Flip Flops, shorts, t-shirts, sun dresses!
We spent the day shopping and running around.
I can't complain!
The next two days Jason spent in class.
From 8-5pm.
I wish thats how it was a home!
What would it be like, having him work normal hours!
We spent Wednesday, excited/ sad about leaving the next morning.
We woke up at 4:45am which was 3:45am Washington time.
For an 8am departure.
Luckily we got there when we did.
Not exactly the most efficient way of getting the lines to form.
It was worth it because we made our flight.
We made it home got our bags, and headed to get our puppy!
He stayed the week at his previous owners house.
So he got to see his parents and brothers.
Who are all HUGE like him!
Gave him a bath when we got home.
And Jason had to go to work because
Candidate Rick Santorium was comign to his facility.
But overall it was great trip!(:
I love being able to spend time with Jason and have fun and make memories.
He's an amazing guy and I'm glad I'm lucky enough to be in his life!
(: thanks baby!
